Let us tell you about mythology…

Dear families,

For the last two weeks, we have started a new BG called ‘Are we greek or roman?’. The first challenge has been to investigate a god or goddess from the Greek or Roman times. We have compared both versions of the gods or goddesses and each group has conducted an investigation about a specific one.

Then, we have collected everything we have learned about this god or goddess and made a poster. Finally, we have done an oral presentation for our classmates.

HAPPY EASTER, HOGWARTS!

Hello families 🙂

For the past two weeks, we have been learning and experiencing a variety of English Easter traditions. From learning a song about the Easter bunny to enjoying a fantastic chocolate egg hunt, we have had so much fun!

One of our favourite activities has been to record ourselves singing the song we have learned and creating a magical video for our schoolmates in “l’escola petita”, so they can learn the song too.

It is safe to say they all loved it and we think you will too!

PREHISTORIC DAILY ROUTINES

Hello families!

Theses past weeks, we have been learning about the Prehistoric Ages and our final challenge has been to image what a day looked like back then.

Each cooperative team has prepared a video depicting a day in the life of a prehistoric tribe.

This week we have started the new brúixola.

To learn about the past we became archaeologists for one day.

In teams and using archaeologist tools we had to find in the sand all the fossils related to the prehistory.

We had a blast !

GLOBAL WARMING

TWO WEEKS AGO WE WORKED ON THE CLIMATE CHANGE. FIRST, WE PUT IN COMMON ALL THE PROBLEMS AND THEN WE LOOKED FOR SOLUTIONS.

AFTER IT, EACH GROUP CHOSE ONE OF THE PROBLEMS AND CREATED AN SLOGAN TO AWARENESS EVERYBODY.

WE HAD THE CHANCE TO SHARE ONE OF THE SESSIONS WITH TEACHERS FROM CHILE.

FINALLY EACH GROUP PRESENTED THEIR SLOGAN.

 

THEY WORKED VERY WELL AND WERE VERY EFFICIENT.

OUR PLANET

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF OUR STAR WENT OUT?

WE HAVE FOUND OUT THAT WE CAN’T LIVE ON PLANET EARTH ANYMORE…. SO WE HAVE DECIDED TO GET IN OUR ROCKETS AND EXPLORE SPACE TO FIND A SYSTEM WHERE WE CAN LIVE.

EACH CREW (TEAM) HAS A VERY IMPORTANT MISSION: TO DESIGN A PLANET FOR HUMANS TO LIVE ON.

TOGETHER, WE WILL CREATE A NEW SYSTEM FOR HUMANITY!

ENGLISH BRÚIXOLA

HELLO EVERYBODY,

TODAY WE HAVE STARTED THE FIRST ENGLISH BRÚIXOLA “WHAT IF OUR STAR GOES OUT ?

FROM NOW ON, DURING ENGLISH CLASS WE WILL PRETEND WE ARE ASTRONAUTS ON A ROCKET TRAVELLING AND INVESTIGATING AROUND THE SPACE.

TO GET INTO THE MOOD, TODAY WE HAVE USED THE APP SKYGUIDE. WE HAVE CHECKED CONSTELLATIONS, STARS, PLANETS… IT HAS BEEN AMAZING !
