CAN YOU GUESS THE INVENTION?

Hello families!

During this “Brúixola”, we have been talking about inventions. In order to do so, we’ve had to learn some new vocabulary focusing on adjectives and how to write proper descriptions of any objects we might find.

Our final activity has been to prepare a guessing game for you! Each student has thought of an invention and written a description about it without mentioning its name. This has been the perfect opportunity to put into practise everything we have learned so far!

CRAZY NEWS !

DURING THE LAST BA IN ENGLISH LESSONS WE LEARNT HOW TO WRITE OUR OWN NEWS AS IF WE WERE REAL JOURNALISTS.

EACH KID INVENTED 3 CRAZY NEWS AND LATER THEY CHOSE 1 AND PRESENTED A TV NEWS PROGRAM.

THEY ENJOYED A LOT INVENTING THE NEWS AND NOW THEY ARE ABLE TO WRITE SHORT SENTENCES WITH A CORRECT VOCABULARY AND GRAMMAR STRUCTURE.

ENGLISH STATIONS

TODAY IN ENGLISH CLASS WE SPLIT THE CLASS GROUP INTO 4 GROUPS.

THERE WERE 4 DIFFERENT STATIONS IN DIFFERENT CLASSES AND IN EACH STATION THERE WAS A DIFFERENT ACTIVITY: SPELLING WORDS, BASIC VOCABULARY, BOOKS AND SPEAKING CATEGORIES.

DURING THE ENGLISH CLASS THE GROUPS ROTATED.

ONE MORE TIME, THEY HAD FUN WHILE REVISED AND LEARNED ENGLISH.

INVENTION OF THE DAY !

Today Pau Ferre brought an old invention. A radio !

Again,  some classmates touched and described orally using some of the vocabulary of the unit.

It has a medium size

It has a rectangle shape

it is made of plastic, wood and metal

After it, we shared the  impressions about the invention and we talked about what devices do we use nowadays to listen to the radio. Spotify, the cell phone, the computer, the tv, alexa…

AHIR A CLASSE TOCANT, ESCOLTANT, SENTINT I PENSANT VAM HAVER D’ENDEVINAR DE QUIN INVENT ES TRACTAVA, AMB LA DIFICULTAT QUE SÓN LA VERSIÓ ANTIGA DE L’INVENT.

A POSTERIORI VAM COMPARAR L’ANTIC AMB EL MODERN. VAN SORGIR MOLTES OBSERVACIONS INTERESSANTS I TOTES EN ANGLÈS !

Poetry in English class

AS SOON WE WILL CELEBRATE “ELS JOCS FLORALS” AND WE JUST STARTED THE NEW BRÚIXOLA “INVENTIONS’, YESTERDAY AND TODAY WE CREATED AN ACROSTIC POEM OUT OF AN INVENTION.

WE HAD FUN CREATING IT AND THINKING WORDS WITH AN SPECIFIC LETTER. SOMETIMES IT WAS EASY, SOMETIMES WE NEEDED HELP, BUT AT THE END WE DID IT !
